Terms of service
These terms cover your use of thefocuswheel.com and anything you buy from us. Please read them. By ordering, you're agreeing to them.
"We" and "us" mean The Focus Wheel. "You" means you, the customer.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The sale is made when we email you to confirm it. We may decline an order — for example if we can't verify payment, if we suspect fraud, or if we've made a pricing error — and if we do, we'll refund you in full and tell you why.
We may limit quantities per customer or per order.
Prices and errors
Prices are in US dollars and are shown before tax; sales tax is calculated at checkout from your delivery address.
We try hard to keep the site accurate, but errors happen. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price and your order is affected, we'll contact you before charging you or shipping, and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We won't quietly charge you a different amount than the one you agreed to.
Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify and its payment providers. We don't see or store your full card details.
Shipping and returns
Covered separately in our shipping policy and our refund policy. Those form part of these terms.
The product
We describe the FW–1 as accurately as we can, and we publish what we don't claim as readily as what we do. Photographs and renders are representations; small differences in finish or colour between a render and the object on your desk are normal and are not a fault.
Specifications may change between production runs as we improve the product.
The app, the firmware and the local API
The wheel ships with software, and the app is yours to use for as long as you own a wheel. There's no subscription and no account.
The software is licensed, not sold. You may use it, connect to it over your own network, and build against the local API and MCP server — that's what they're for. You may not redistribute the firmware or the app as your own product.
We may issue firmware updates. We'll try to keep older wheels working, but we can't promise every future feature will reach every unit forever.
Your account and conduct
If you create an account, keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under them. Don't use the site to break the law, to interfere with how it runs, or to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for anyone else.

Warranty and liability
We don't currently offer a warranty beyond the 30–day returns window described in our refund policy.
The site and the product are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost work, lost time, lost income — arising from the product or the site. Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited.
Nothing in these terms affects rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order. Material changes will be dated.
Governing law
